Erica Holloway of Galvanized Strategies, a San Diego-based public relations firm, shares her Generation X ruminations about the beautiful outcomes from life’s difficult realities. After four years of heartbreaking infertility, she and hubs were surprised to find they were expecting in 2011 and in April 2012, welcomed a healthy baby girl into the world. The experience of nearly becoming a foster mom (they finished classes and certifications just as they found out they were expecting) turned her into an advocate for foster and adoptive families. She lives with her family, complete with two squirrely cats, in San Diego County.
